Adam Okun, EVP, Quoted in The Wall Street Journal

Frenkel Benefits Executive Vice President, Adam Okun, was quoted recently in The Wall Street Journal in an article about the efforts of some major law firms who are addressing the mental health needs of their workforce. WSJ notes Adam’s close work consulting law firms with their benefit programs and share his observation that “mental health and substance-abuse claims take up 6% to 8% of healthcare spending in the legal services industry, versus 3% to 4% spent nationally by employers.” He later states that “bringing a psychologist into the office is a novel way to try to address these issues, but obviously many firms are not ready to make that public statement.” Read the full article here.
