Results have been released for the third annual Frenkel Benefits Mid-Market Employee Benefits Benchmarking Survey. The survey includes data about medical, pharmacy, dental, life and disability plans, as well as wellness programming and initiatives.
As a member of Assurex Global, a global network of independent agents and brokers with nearly 50 members across the United States, Frenkel Benefits joined forces with a number of these like-sized partner firms to populate the survey, featuring data from employers who span a range of industries, sizes, and geographies.
The survey was conducted during the first and second quarters of 2017 with participation from approximately 450 mid-market employers across the United States, including groups with 50–5,000 employees.
Along with the national results, Frenkel Benefits also released the results for a number of specialized markets where benefits benchmarking can be extremely valuable – including financial, luxury retail, legal, real estate, non-profit and manufacturing sectors.
Frenkel began this annual survey in 2015 to offer our clients access to custom benchmarking reports that would meet their individual needs. Frenkel utilizes this custom analysis data, working closely alongside our clients, to review market competitiveness and modify benefit plans, contributions, and other programming such as wellness.
