Adam is a Co-President at Frenkel Benefits – an EPIC Company, responsible for the executive management and leadership that drives the operation and success of Frenkel Benefits. He manages a number of the largest client relationships at Frenkel Benefits, partnering with clients on program design and cost containment strategies. He has received national recognition as an expert in the financial implications of the Affordable Care Act, presenting to some of the largest global firms in the legal and accounting industries on the compliance, administrative and tax consequences of health reform legislation.
Adam joined Frenkel in 2009, leading the organization’s compliance and financial reporting departments. Adam spent the early years of his career at a national consulting firm, advising large Fortune 500 clients on their health and benefits offerings and cost management strategies. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
Adam is quoted frequently in business publications such as the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Bloomberg BNA, ABA Journal and Law360. He is widely interviewed and has spoken at events including the WSJ webcast “What the Healthcare Law Means for You,” bswift’s “Idea Exchange,” the NJ State League of Municipalities Conference, and the Actuarial Career Day at Columbia University. Adam is also an annual speaker at Frenkel’s healthcare reform and benefits seminars, most recently presenting on high cost claimants and trends in the stop loss market.
Currently, Adam serves as a Board Member of Yeshiva Darchei Torah, Bnos Bais Yaakov, and Yeshiva Nishmas Hatorah. He is also on the Executive Board of the Achiezer Community Resource Center. Previously, Adam was Board Member and Treasurer for the Actuarial Society of Greater New York (ASNY) and Congregation Yagdil Torah.
Adam graduated from Touro College where he earned a degree in actuarial studies. Within the community, Adam has lent his actuarial background to assist the National Council of Young Israel Burial Society with financial work and is involved in the Achiezer Community Resource Center to support the organization on ACA enrollment responsibilities. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and three sons as well as traveling – often all together, which is no small feat with five children!
